CSIR NET Chemical Science Eligibility Criteria

The CSIR NET Chemical Science Eligibility criteria are simple and clear, and thus, it will help the candidate to understand whether he/she can apply for the exam or not. The candidate must have a master’s degree in chemistry or applied chemistry, Biochemistry, or Industrial Chemistry from a recognized university. The candidate must have at least 55% marks in the master’s degree. For reserved categories, it is 50%. Final year students who are awaiting results can also apply, if they satisfy the eligibility criteria by the deadline prescribed. The age limit for JRF is 28 years and that is relaxed for SC/ST/OBC, while there is no upper age limit for Lectureship (LS).
